Calgary Sports Council- Mayor’s Breakfast

It was an honour to be awarded by the Calgary Sports Council, and congratulated by Mayor Bronconnier. Calgary Flames!

T.J. Brody of the Calgary Flames, and T. Purcell of the Tampa Bay Lightning scramble for puck-dominance at any cost… they were even ready to run me down! ;) These are great players with tenacidy for our world’s number 1 cold climate winter professional sport! 

Biker Wave

  A large insurgence of Harley riders came to Calgary recently. This biker acknowledged me taking his photo, and I like to think he meant it in the nicest possible way. :)  

Warthog

The US military brought this A10 Warthog close-strike aircraft to the Lethbridge Airshow in late July. The pilot gave and excellent performance, and interesting to take note of the computer-assisted control surface positions. Comments welcome.    

Saddle Bronc

“Showboy” was aptly named and is an excellent Saddle Bronc. Frank C. showed his true grit as a cowboy on this ride. His calm/cool words to me were, ”I heard it (collarbone) snap”. He will be back on the rodeo circuit next year! Comments welcome.
