Little Girl – Big Horse

I was not sure who was more hesitant.. the little girl or the large draft horse. He stared at her for a few moments then took the grass out of her hand.

Mom!

It was fun to watch the interaction between this mother Grizzly and her cub. A male of the species wandered too close and there was quite a commotion! Comments welcome. 

Snowshoe Hare-Bunny

 

This little guy decided he would do a Lindt chocolate bunny pose for me. Unlike rabbits, hares are born with fur and eyes open so they are developed early-on for survival in the wild. Comments welcome.  

Tender Moment

Salamander!

This tiny little guy is a juvenile Long-Toed Salamander. He was only about 4.3 cm long. What an amazing treat it was to come across him, as they are rarely seen. As they grow and mature, they lose the yellow stripe/spots… (more…)
